All of the Flowclear drinking water filter systems are made for simplicity of installation for the average d.i.y. installation and no plumbing knowledge is required or assumed, but if you prefer of course your local plumber can install it for you, our past testing and research shows that the filter system can easily be installed within 20 minutes of reading the simple step by step instructions with photographs for each stage.
Every thing needed for a simple and successfully installation is in the box excluding a drill and bit to drill a hole in the worktop.
A simple Self Piercing valve is fitted to a normal 15 mm diameter pipe and held into position with a back nut and we even supply a special spanner to make installation even simpler for you to install your drinking water filter system, you can then very simply tighten the tap, similar to turning of you kitchen tap, and the water connection is then made , without ever having to turn the water of at your stopcock, you can of course turn it off for extra peace of mind if you prefer.
No plumbing knowledge is needed for the simple connection of the inlet and outlet pipes either, the 1/4 inch pipes simply push into the special fittings and a watertight seal is made, with no nut to tighten, no soldering and no glue, it couldn't be easier.
